<div itemprop="description">D&rsquo;Alessandro (nee Risi), Carmela <br />Carmela was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on October 9th, 2015, at age of 87 soon 88, welcoming her into Heaven, husband Anacleto (2012) and first son Domenic (1988). Carmela is survived by children, twins Gino with wife Marianne, and Giovanni with wife Anna, and daughter-in-law Terri (Don). Awaiting in Heaven, parents Antonio &amp; Concetta (neeTiseo) Risi, and parents-in-law Emidio &amp; Francesca (nee Lena) D&rsquo;Alessandro. Survived by Grandchildren, Julie (Christian), Dominic (Ashley), Anacleto and Armando, and 1st great-grandchild, Dominic. Predeceased by brother Giuseppe (Giuseppina) Risi, and sisters, Regetta (Giuseppe) Minghella, Giuseppina (Angelo, Emilio) DiMambro, Maria (Antonio) Lia, Antonietta (Vincenzo) Evangelista, Amelia (Guerino) Evangelista, and brothers-in-law, Emilio (Maria surviving), Ido (Giuseppina) and Dante (Lina, Jeanie). Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and extended family. Carmela was born in S&rsquo;Angelo in Theodice (Cassino), Frosinone province of Lazio Italy on October 23rd, 1927, on a farm on il Colle di Mezzanotte (hills of midnight). Carmela was the youngest of her family, at birth she was an Aunt by 1 year. She assisted her family in household chores since her father was a Grain Farmer. Carmela immigrated to Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1954, and married her husband Anacleto via proxy in 1954, arriving shortly after in the same year, and they raised 3 young men together. Carmela profession in Canada included stability of her Family, Italian Culture, and Roman Catholic faith. She enjoyed family celebrations, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and gardening. Her pride was her roses. She adores her family from above, and with fellow family members takes pride in her children. Visitation will be held at Janisse Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., Windsor (519-253-5225) on Tuesday from 3-5 &amp; 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-5 &amp; 7-9 p.m. with parish prayer at 4:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. in procession to St. Angela Merici for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the U.H.C (Unemployment Help Centre) Food Bank. Online condolences may be left at www.janissefuneralhome.ca. A mass is taking place in S'Angelo in Theodice at S'Angelo Church, Italy. <br /></div>
