<div itemprop="description">With deep regret we announce the sudden passing of Elsie (AZ) Jamieson (nee Hasspacher) on March 24, 2013 in her 86th year. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Arthur and is survived by her daughter Rhonda, son Arthur Jr. and grandchildren Brandon, Troy, Clay, Brett and Melissa. The last living of five children, Rudy, Hamie, twin brother Hank, and sister Ruth, of Hugo and Margarete Hasspacher of Germany who immigrated to the United States. Born and raised in the German community of East Detroit, Oma met her husband-to-be at a dance at the YMCA in downtown Detroit and moved to Windsor after her marriage. Oma was often seen behind at the glass at her grandkids hockey games. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings, dice shark at Monopoly, and big fan of The Price is Right. She often enjoyed going for a driving through farm country in Windsor and the surrounding county in search of fresh produce. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
