<div itemprop="description">Furtado (nee Silva), Helena Marta <br>Passed away peacefully with her loving family on Tuesday, December 20th, 2016 at Banwell Gardens . <br>Beloved wife of the late Tiburcio (1992). <br>Loving mother of Maria Helena DeArruda ( Lino 1999), Jose Alberto Furtado (Rosa) and Jorge Manuel Furtado (Leslie). <br>Cherished Avo of John DeArruda (Mercedes), Cristina Furtado Rodrigues (Paul), Iolanda Furtado ( Jose), Christopher Furtado (Sarah) and Jaime Furtado Mirea (Samy). <br>Cherished Zinha of Andrew, Jeremy, Morgan, Hope, Connor, Paige, Bernardo , Josh, Spencer and Chance. <br>Dear sister of Maria, Anna, Jose and Manuel all predeceased and survived by many nieces and nephews. <br>Helena was an amazing seamstress and was well known with in the local community for her embroidery skills. especially with her volunteer work for Divino Espirito Santo. <br>She was a great cook, especially in her native Portugese Cuisine. <br> <br>Funeral Visitation at Janisse Funeral Home (519-253-5225) 1139 Ouellette Ave. on Tuesday, December 27th from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 28th after 9 am at Our Lady of Atonement Parish (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am.
