<div itemprop="description">EICHINGER, Helene Katharina <br /> <br />Born on April 10, 1925 in Torschau, Yugoslavia and passed away peacefully on September 14, 2014, at the age of 89. Reunited with her loving Jakschi (Jakob) (2006). Beloved mother of Renate Jacobson (Frank) of Alabama and Bette Marentette (Nick) of Munich, Germany. Special Oma to Andrea, Gary (Jennifer) and Zachary. Great-Oma to Kelsea, Myah, Lily and Emily. Predeceased by her parents Florian and Theresa Kohlheb and brother Adalbert Kohlheb. Helene was a strong and determined woman who never gave up. Her strength and determination brought her through many adversities in her life&rsquo;s journey. Among her many talents she loved cooking, sewing and petitepoint. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by all who loved her. A special thank you to Debbie Solly, Christine Dupuis, Ottilie &amp; Tony Schmidt and Lepa Marentette for being there when she passed into the arms of the Lord. The family would also like to thank the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh, especially Mohammed, for their kind and compassionate care. Visiting at Janisse Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., Windsor (519-253-5225) on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Gilvan de Azevedo officiating.
