Brian Johnson, C.D. </p> <p> Passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Windsor, Ontario. </p> <p> Brian, cherished brother of Royane Houghton of Ottawa, Heather and her husband Gary Crompton of Oakville, and loving uncle of Lauren and her husband Matthew Sykes of Georgetown.&nbsp; Brian was predeceased by his father Stanley in 1998, his twin sister Barbara in 2003 and his mother Catherine in 2010. </p> <p> Brian was known far and wide for his infectious laugh; he was a master story teller and possessed a truly wonderful sense of humour. &nbsp;He was a kind and generous person, who was always willing to be a friend, mentor or facilitator. He was strong in his faith, and was a dynamic speaker.&nbsp; Brian officiated at the funerals of his sister and his mother. </p> <p> He was a wonderful brother and uncle, tremendous friend and a dedicated soldier, who was so very proud to serve his country and who, throughout his life in Windsor, was blessed with many close friends, and comrades in the Canadian Army and his personal association with co-workers, friends and neighbours. </p> <p> Brian was employed for many years at Canada Revenue Agency in Windsor, and&nbsp; retired as the Regimental Second in Command of The Windsor Regiment (R.C.A.C.) </p> <p> Friends are asked to gather at Janisse&nbsp; Bros. &ndash; Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., Windsor &nbsp;(253-5225) on Thursday from 1 p.m. &ndash; 3 p.m. for visitation, followed by a memorial service, so that we may give thanks and to celebrate the life and love of our dear Brian. </p> <p> Brian will be interred at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens in Oakville, Ontario, to be with his parents and his sister. </p> <p> &nbsp;In lieu of flowers, Brian&rsquo;s family request donations in his honour to: </p> <p> <b> The Windsor Regiment Association, 4007 Sandwich St., Windsor, Ont.
