KRYSTIA, Josh

On Thursday December 3, 2015, we lost a bright, fun loving, inspiring, courageous and irreplaceable spirit. Josh (Joshy) (Josho) was 12 years old, and he always lived life to the fullest. When he went to bed it was to be rejuvenated so he could live his adventure the next day. Whether it was playing with friends, sports, fishing , camping or exploring, he threw himself into every adventure.

Josh was very responsible and looked to himself to finance all his big purchases. He would save up his money and look for ways to make it, especially by taking apart old broken appliances and computers and selling the scraps. He was so proud of himself this summer before he got sick. He had saved $1,000! He had a cake made to celebrate the event!

Because of his size, Josh was always the big kid and with that came the responsibility to use his size for good and to protect the smaller ones. Whether it was his siblings, a football teammate or a friend, Josh was your friend and protector.

Lastly, Josh was special, he loved to volunteer with the Dads Matter group and wished to one day be a Dad; he would have been a Great One!!!

We have lost a very tough, strong fighter.

Josh is survived by his loving parents Doug and Tammy Krystia. He was the favorite joker, protector and friend to his siblings Gabriella and Matthew whom he loved deeply. Survived by his grandparents David and Michelle Falcioni of Windsor, Betty Krystia of Sudbury and the late Robert. Loving nephew of Kevin & Roxanne Krystia of Sudbury, Dave Falcioni & Lisa Bryans of Windsor and special kindred spirit with Tony & Lucie Falcioni of Innisfil. Josh loved spending time with his cousins Kody & Owen Krystia, Logan & Natalia Falcioni and Zachary & Cynthia Falcioni. Family time was very important to Josh, he especially loved holiday dinners and Sunday dinners at Nonni’s.

Donations to Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario, ChildCan and Connections (Dads Matter) would be appreciated.

Funeral visitation at Janisse Funeral Home 1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor (519-253-5225).

Please note: Special Celebration of Life on Sunday 6-8 pm for kids only!!
In keeping with Josh’s unique spirit and love for life, we the family would like to invite all of his friends, classmates, teammates and their parents to a special Celebration of Life for kids on Sunday from 6-8 at the funeral home. Please come in your regular clothes, no dress up required. We will have an open microphone for jokes, especially Josh’s favourites “yo mamma jokes” and one liners.

Formal Visitation on Monday, December 7th 2-5 & 7-9 pm, with Prayers at 4:30 pm.

Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 8th at Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory Site) 13789 St Gregory's Rd, Tecumseh, ON from 10-11 with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.

You may also share your memories and favorite one liners at www.janissefuneralhome.ca
