Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 27, 2013 at the age of 60. Loving wife and best friend of Floyd Nolan for over 45 years. Cherished mom of Chuck (Teresa) Pageau, Lena (Vaughn) Carter, Kathleen (Ken) Nolan, David (Nicholas) Nolan, Billy Nolan, Joyce (Lee) Nolan-Ducedre, Treasure (Alan) Zahorouski, Tirra (Lance) Cosgrove and Dawn (Len) Nolan-Tracey.Predeceased by son Floyd. Honoured Grandma/Nana of 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.. Predeceased by her parents. Kathy was the President of the Roseland Lions Club for over 15 years. Kathy was fondly known as the neighbourhood mom, she loved endlessly, unconditionally and whole-heartedly. The Nolan home always had an open door policy. Visitation at Janisse Funeral Home, 1129 Ouellette Ave., Windsor (519-253-5225) on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Private family interment to follow. If so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Institute for the Blind.
