<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83 on July 5, 2015. Loving husband of 65 years to Mileva Lazic (Ilic). Cherished father to Mike (Mladen) Lazic and daughter-in-law Sharon Lazic. Loving grandfather to Petar (Christina) and Aleksandar (Penny). Proud great-grandfather to Owan. Will be sadly missed by many friends in Windsor, ON, Ottawa ON, Montreal QC and British Columbia. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, god-children and friends residing in Serbia, Bosnia, and Paris FR. Sincere thanks to the dedicated and compassionate staff of the Emergency and Renal departments of Hotel Dieu Hospital. Milan was with us for a number of extra years through their dedicated efforts. Sincere thanks to the dedicated and compassionate Emergency and Intensive Care staffs of the Windsor Regional who tried everything to save Milan and for making his final hours as comfortable as possible. A very special thank you to Dr. Mazzati for his extraordinary efforts and compassion. Also, very special thank you to all the staff of Aspen Lake who often go beyond the call to comfort and compassionately care for Milan and other residents. Visitation will be held at Janisse Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., Windsor (519-253-5225) on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Serbian Orthodox Church Gracanica, 1960 Meldrum, Windsor, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.</div>
