<div itemprop="description">85 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 10, 2013 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Raffaele (2000). Loving mother of the late Domenico (1987). Survived by brother Antonio Ranaldi and wife Lilliana of Italy and predeceased by sister Pierina Ranaldi. Violanda will be deeply missed by Domenico and Matilde Pappini, Riccardo, Enzo and Nelly, Patricia and Settimo and their families as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Ontario, Michigan, Italy, France and Australia. Violanda was an active member at St. Angela Church, the Ciociaro Club and was retired from Hotel Dieu Hospital after 29 years of service. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Regency Park Nursing Home for their loving care. Visiting will be held at Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave. 519-253-5225) on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 9 a.m. to St. Angela Merici Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
