Beloved daughter of the late Aurel and Jean (née LaRocque) Roy. Dear friend of Pauline Charron. Predeceased by brother Clarence (late Beatrice) Roy. Survived by sister Rita (late Harry) Lamont. Cherished aunt of Gary and wife Denise Lamont, Greg and wife Debbie Lamont, Todd and wife Diane Lamont, Lynda Emerson, Debbie and husband Craig Connell and Roslyn and husband Randy Clark. Loving niece of Andy and Irene Roy, Lorraine Brisson and Kathleen O’Neil. Will be fondly remembered by many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Shirley worked at Bell Canada, at the Morris Kamin Law Office and as a crossing guard at John McRae School. Visitation will be held at Janisse Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave., Windsor (519-253-5225) on Friday November 7th from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1688 County Rd 46, Woodslee (519-723-4458) on Saturday November 8th after 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Bishop Eugene LaRoque officiating. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If so desired, Mass offerings or donations to IRIS house or Hospice would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at www.janissefuneral.ca.
